I'm off to Grenoble tomorrow (with a brief respite stop overnight at Bicester because of the ludicrous nature of of Sunday train timetables ...*)

Four days of workshops, including such fascinating subjects as 'Ethnographic approaches,' 'Content analysis,' and 'Action research and bootlegging.'  (I'm rather intrigued by that one ...)

Never mind. If I'm feeling well enough tomorrow, I'm going to try to make lemon sauce pudding (the recipe for which is quite different from, and a little more complicated than the one for choklit same). That might help.

... and if still not well, there is sticky toffee pudding in the freezer, as long as we remember to get it out to defrost in time.

Maybe next time, I've never made it before and I'm not sure how it's going to turn out. At the moment the mix looks like batter, and is waiting to have egg white whisked into it. Stay tuned for further thrilling updates.
