Tea and Quiet

As much as I would love to be in London for the Jubilee celebrations, Paris has been delightful so far. Having no pasty krauts or obnoxious Danes around with their asinine, alcohol induced hooliganism has been a blessing to both my nervous system and my liver.

My friends have not left me since departing for vacation and I have even encountered a few interesting sylphs and sprites during my time in Paris. They tend to be very sultry, beautiful little creatures. The aethyr runs light and smooth here which is a welcome change from more turbulent forces. It is admittedly quite relaxing. Intoxicating, one could say. I have even caught hints of an esteemed relative of mine drifting on the spring breeze.

I will not apologize for waxing poetic like this. Let me say that I am not looking forward to returning to coursework and classes one iota and would be content to continue eating more of Francis's cooking and exploring as many of the old, rare book stores, and historical sites that I can find. I may need a second suitcase for the small library of obscure tomes and mythical texts that I have managed to acquire.

I don't fancy trying to drag them through customs...

spring break, paris, francis
