[The video feed begins with a confused looking twenty-something with messy, reality defying blond hair, and dressed in plaid. [Sorry, Negi's a little bandaged and bruised right now thanks to that "tiny green talking fetal dinosaur looking toad-monster". But he's trying!]

That pretty well sounds like the network, actually...

[Poor Negi! He may look as bad as Topher did when he first arrived. Can't blame that on the Dino-Fetish though.]

Woah what happened to you, pal?

No, um, there's a very dangerous person here that is trying to use me to get to one of my friends.

Dangerous like criminally?! Nobody said there were criminals here!

[Oh dear. He's totally waving his hands about now.]

Actually that would make sense considering we're not anything close to a closed state with a functioning government. Right? Chaos is kinda a default behavior in these scenarios.

Yes, it's hard to keep track of people when so many are coming and going as often as they seem to do...

No government means no oversight. It can be good or bad thing--I think where I'm from the government didn't make a difference anyways. In the long run.

[jaded scientist is jaded.]

Still is there some sort of police force here? Cause that looks painful and full of DNW.

[Yeah he did just spell out D N W. He's a weirdo.]

What do you mean? Your government didn't do a very good job?

Um, I think there is one person that was a police officer in his world that is trying to get the jail up and running, but other than that, I don't believe there's any sort of police force.

[Aaaand a tilt of his head, followed by a very, very confused look.]

...DNW?

Depends on who you ask? I mean I'm not democrat or a republican but I can tell you those guys we elected? Totally asleep at the wheel. They have no idea what's really going on in their own country.

No jail. Great. Realllly reassuring. Should have known.

[Confused is met with impatience]

Do Not Want. It's a saying. Means...what it sounds like actually.

Haaah...that isn't good. Is there any way for anyone to do anything about it?

Ah, well, usually there's a sort of civilian militia when something bad happens. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to happen often, but when something does happen, the community bands together.

...oh, I see! An abbreviation! I'm sorry, I've never heard it before, it must be something from the internet. [Because anything he hasn't heard of before must come from the internet, obviously.]

Well the guy we just elected was supposed to but ah--I dunno actually. Politics never really was my thing.

Really? Do people have weapons here? ...Wait what am I saying, of course they do. Wouldn't make sense not to.

Yup! Net-slang. [Of course!]
