Christmas vacation is over and life returns to its daily grind.
Kim went back to Oakley on Monday. It was so hard to let her go. She truly impressed me while she was home. She's made several tough choices in the last week and I couldn't be more proud of her. I hope she has the strength to stick with them.
From what I hear, Kris and company's venture to Chicago to see Buckethead was a huge success. Happy Birthday, Kris! Huge thanks to Joe's dad for being the chaperon, driver and, from the stories I hear, a partner in crime!! ;)
Swim team, ballet, school play are back in full swing, meaning Kiersten and Katie have no time for anything. Only a couple more weeks for Katie, but another month+ for Kiersten before things slow down. I hope Kiersten has the strength to handle it all without driving the rest of us insane!!
Time to break out the snow shoes and work off the Christmas pounds. Being old and fat is no fun.
Happy Birthday to me tomorrow and Happy Birthday to Kris on Saturday. The boy becomes an adult!! Me, I just get older.
Alias starts tonight!!! WOOHOO!! I'd love to be a beautiful, badass woman. sigh. Maybe in my next life.
