From the weekend
Alas, I have a few quotes, even though I haven't posted to or checked LJ lately. There's just so much to do, like building a snowwoman on the lovely Valentine's snow day and training to be a yoga teacher and procrastinating from homework and talking about lab prospects and, of course, video games because what is a day without a bit of Melee. You shall miss me...in fact, the world shall miss both Drew and me when Brawl comes out. I don't think there are any other games that have lead to crazy animal lust--all after beating two level nine jigglypuffs. Oh the joy.
So here are my quotes:
"I just had a few beers with God and we discussed how to make people happier." --Drew following a magnificent orgasm
"When Gandhi does it, it's spiritual; when those people do it, they are just lazy bums." --Me following a rant about the homeless people I pass every day
I am growing so exciting about spring. Our compost heap is looking fantastic and my new herbal seedlings are sitting in their little dirt pods. Snow and ice are still covering everything, but the anticipation of diving into the flower beds is driving me crazy. It'll be in the upper 40's and maybe 50's next week. I bought new gloves and a trowel and soil testers. I am ready...even though I have almost no clue what I am doing. The Netherland tuplip bulbs need to be lovlingly planted. My two rosemary spriglings are surviving beautifully and one may end up out front in place of an ugly bush. I can't wait to move back South, but for now, I'm going to make this place beautiful and herby.
