(no subject)
Week 4!
Sunday the 10th, after returning from Tietze's, I had time to shower and eat something before picking up Kyle and going to coffee with Meredith O'Neill. Yet another person I hadn't seen in far too long. Her and I were supposed to be workout buddies but that didn't happen due to illness. Coffee was good though, we got to talk about lots and catch up on what everyone was up to. After that Kyle came back to my house. I went throughmy closet and got rid of 2 trash bags of stuff. We brought it to Saver's to donate. I got a 20% off coupon so we looked around. Kyle got some stuff and I only got a hat. But it's a sweet hat. After Saver's we parted ways for dinner with the fams. Later on we went bowling, yet again. It was Jordan's last night in town so we all hung out, obviously. After bowling we went back to my place and just kind of chilled. We told James a riddle and it took him forever to figure it out. We had all heard it before so we just enjoyed watching him squirm. :P It was kind of nice not watching a movie and just talking. Jordan left first this time, but I got hugged last. :] I like to think that's a good thing. The rest of them (Dan'l, James, and Kyle) stayed for another while longer and we got talking about sleepwalking. It was highly amusing.
Monday was the morning that Jordan left. :[ I wouldn't be disappointed, but he's not going to be home for spring break. He's going on a mission trip to El Salvador. I should be happy he's going to do such an awesome thing, but I'm still sad he won't be around. He said he'll be home for Easter though, and I don't work that weekend, so maybe I'll be able to get home for it! Anyway, Monday I brought my car in to get a couple things fixed. I didn't have a car the rest of the day, but it wasn't so bad. I went over to Charlie's and we watched some movies. It was Charlie, Tietze and I. Later on James and Kyle joined us. It was a fun time, and there were a couple more tickle rapings. :P
Tuesday morning I made myself get up and go to Zumba. I made the right choice. Mom and I picked up the car later that day and I had my baby back! Kyle and I made plans to go see The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. It was super good. Last movie that Heath was ever in. It was Kyle, Kelly, Joe, James and I that went. Dan wanted to go, but Kyle's phone crapped out on him, and Dan didn't call anyone else. :[ After the movie James, Kyle and I went to the bowling alley and harassed Dan'l. We bowled a couple games and then went to Perkin's. I saw Arif there, it was funny. I think we stayed there talking about random crap until like 2am.
Wednesday Charlie and I romped with our puppies at the park by my house. Then hung out at my house watching bad TV. I love the things that amuse us. After Charlie left I felt like skating a little. I put my hockey skates on and went down to the park and skated for awhile. After mom got home from work I took her to Applebee's for dinner. I paid for it as something to do for her paying for the repairs on my car. I love that woman. I hadn't been running on much sleep that day and I ended up falling asleep on the couch and did absolutely nothing that night. It was awesome.
Thursday I got myself up, rather easily after passing out on the couch, and went to Zumba one last time before leaving. Mom took me grocery shopping later that day. Again, love her. :] After that and dinner we went bowling again! I think this night it was just Dan'l, Kyle and I. Good times. After bowling we went to my house, because it's the place to be. We ended up watching this old vantriliquist I have on tape. I wore the tape out as a kid and I still think he's fabulous. My mom ended up watching it with us. :P
Friday I spent most of my time getting ready to leave as I had planned on leaving that night. I had to take my car in again as they had a new part they didn't have before. My mom and I were having lunch with a couple old friends (my old friend, her mom, who's my mom's friend) so we took it in before we met them. Well we hadn't seen them in like years so of course lunch, which didn't start until after 2, ended up longer than anticipated. We left the restaurant at about 4:15 and I had been wanting to leave around 5:30. I then took a step back and realized I was planning on leaving in the middle of rush hour. Stupid Laura. I decided then and there I was waiting until the next morning to leave because I didn't want to just sit on the Freeway waiting to move in the dark. Kelly, Kyle, Joe and Dan'l came over to hang out one more time before I left. Which was good because I really only saw Kelly and Joe like 3-4 times the WHOLE time I was home.
Saturday I got up and got my stuff organized. I needed to leave early because I not only worked that weekend at the house, I had to do laundry for Andrea and had to be at her place by noon. Heh. I was at the gas station by like 8:30. I made great time as I was in La Crosse by 11. Went to Andrea's, then to work! It really was a thrilling weekend. :P
My last week at home was bittersweet. I didn't think I was going to have any problem leaving because I'd been there so long, but I was a bit upset leaving home. It was kind of weird. Now that I'm back in La Crosse I've done a whole lot of nothing, but I guess I might as well do that while I can eh?
Classes start soon! Nervous! Not really...
