so yesterday was fun
Got a call from unemployment basically telling me that because I got a severance package, they'll deny my claims until they calculate I've used all of that money. But I should keep going to their site and plugging in places I've applied despite this.
Went to FYE to "sell" them some used DVD's so I could get Doctor Who series 6. First? Asshole manager was an asshole and ignored me for fifteen minutes because his shift was about to end, then? (With a WAY more awesome manager) The whole process is like returning used books in college. "You paid, like $200 for this, right? I'll give you five bucks. Even trade, eh?" Ugh.
Then I got to see 'White Christmas' for the first time! Pretty! There's a line like, "What's Christmas without snow?" and young David, walking through, shouted, "It's still Christmas, moron!" I guess Floridians have a different idea of the season, LOL.
