babies and more babies

So we only had to wait MONTHS for THIS episode of Bones, but that wait? SERIOUSLY worth it.

Bones

If this had aired before the kiss, as it was meant to, I dunno if all the shippy adorable stuff would have been AS shippy and adorable. I mean, Booth referring to Andy as "our boy" near the end and having Bones kind of correct him apprehensively was all sorts of win. But I love that when he was speaking of the second house he thinks she should buy in that town, he refers to it as theirs at some point (I think when talking about the tv and stuff he says "we" once or twice) she lets it slide.

"How loaded are you?"
And her response about how that question is rude, but that she's very loaded. I'm beginning to wonder just how much money Brennan has (near the end she talked about selling the movie rights to a book that's not even started). I know she's not AS loaded as Hodgins, but seven figure ADVANCE?

"What number does that seven figure start with?"
"A prime number."
I bet Booth would choke on his coffee if he saw the check.

"I want, like, a million babies."
"What did she mean by a million?"
I know Bones isn't ABOUT babies, but now I want to see Angela and Hodgins have a baby… and I wanna see Booth and Bones babysit. LOL. Ok ok… some things are meant to stay in fic-land.

"Phalanges! Phalanges!"
Booth things bones are dry and boring… hee. Also, the raspberry she blew on Andy's stomach and her "no one saw that, right" glance around was priceless.

"Booth… he's making that face again."
I love that Booth is a guy who changes diapers without blinking. But I love that Bones is so attentive that she's already recognized the "I just shit" face on an infant she's had for less than two days. Shut it, it's cute.

"I'm not discussing teats with you." / "I was breast fed, were you?"
These are the kinds of situations that leave me in hysterics. She's so perfectly comfortable talking about things that other people find insanely Uncomfortable. She can totally make Booth blush. Heh.

"There was a baby in that car you son of a bitch!"
I can't recall ever hearing Bones curse, or get that steaming pissed. I was actually expecting her to punch Biff in the face.

Next week looks interesting. I wonder why Angela won't testify against Brennan's father, and if everyone will end up doing the same in order to let the guy get less time… are they allowed to do that? Wouldn't Angela go to jail for contempt? And what kind of defense is Brennan going to give? The only thing her father could have in his favor isn't exactly based on facts, but on feelings and that's a weird place for her.

House

Is the whole Bi-sexual thing going to become the new "black people" joke on this show?

Halfway through the episode, I said, "I really wish Bones was after House because it's just so much better," and that's not necessarily a true statement, but when House gets to the end, I'm always left with this "blech" feeling and I kind of hate that. The idea that this guy is now speaking in sentences of, "I wonder what else I DON'T like," means that his attitude has changed and that House's theory was, for this instance, right - people can't be nice, it's evolutionarily impossible. That's a shitty way to look at life, but that's House. There's always that insane touch of the pessimistic that upsets me.

Him 'sharing custody' of Wilson with Cutthroat Bitch was kind of funny, even though it was extremely childish and sad on Wilson's part, asking Cuddy to step in because, "they both scare me." It would be nice though if House spent more time with Chase and Cameron though. The whole thing with the reviews was good only in seeing Taub set Foreman straight. He sits there in a suit and acts superior but meh, he's so still a duckling.

Still miss Cam and Chase. Seeing Chase bowling with House was fun, hee, but seeing him all jealous over whether Cam slept with House or not kind of sucked. Meh, I miss the old dynamic. Still.

tv: bones, tv: house
