Ex-'Grey's' star: Racism a factor in axing
Dear Mr. Isaiah Washington,
You ignorant self-righteous son of a bitch. When Shonda Rhimes created Grey’s Anatomy with the network and she went casting for your character she didn’t assign him a race, she simply asked that the casting staff cast the best person (not even “man”) for the job. They did exactly as they were told, so how DARE you imply that the network is now somehow using your race as a justification for your firing?
You weren’t fired because you are an assertive black man. Just as you were not fired because of your first outburst in which you thought it was somehow NOT, in any way, wrong to call your co-worker a derogatory name as an acceptable insult. You were also not fired because you didn’t atone ENOUGH for this original offense. You were fired because of your actions at the Golden Globes where you lied through your teeth and in your denial of your original mistake, you used the word which sparked actions against you in the first place, garnering you no pity or respect from co-workers, the network, the audience, and others who found out about the incident through the media and/or fans of the show.
You were fired because you are a stupid asshole who didn’t know when to shut the fuck up.
