I really want to go bear viewing in Alaska, but thanks to the car accident in Scotland I really shouldn't* rearrange finances to do this. (Especially since not following my own company policy and not taking ou the CDW insurance was my own damn fault - even if the accident itself wasn't).

I seem to be drinking my way through this tradeshow.  Every bloody booth has whisky on tap!

So, while I'm sitting in the pub avoiding work (ok, I should have had these appointments set before* I left the US - ooops) let's touch on this trip so far.

I am packed and am shutting down the computer.
Tomorrow I have a 7 hour layover in Newark - which the lovely doctorwannabe  has said she'll drive up, pick me up and we'll make a day of it! Wohoo!
Then it's back to the airport for my flight to Manchester, a quick train ride and by Sunday afternoon I will be enjoying some time with hils .

Yeah, my friends are in town from Seattle, it was a late night last night, yakking and drinking wine and catching up on stuff! Today it's off to the North Shore (and hope that it doesn't really snow).
