Nobunaga Concerto Movie Review!

I watched this on Monday!

I don't really have much to say so no point having a cut for this post:

I think this would've been better as a second season rather than a movie. I feel the fact we only had 2 hours really forced the drama to lose all the charm it had in the drama and it didn't have enough time to build suspense. Also, cos it got delayed for like a YEAR, a lot of my interesting and hype in the product was pretty much gone by the time it FINALLY came out and (going back to it being a movie) we kinda lost and/or forgot all the characters and their charms in the movie and there was like no development. Also, I felt like the ending was very, very predictable (both character deaths were predictable to the exact detail in my mind) so I was a tad disappointed. The switching of roles (see me trying not to spoil anything) was very obvious too! There was definitely not enough Tsune-chan. I wish we'd been shown more of his school-life too. There were a few dodgy edits which is concerning =/ I wanted 'Chike' to show up at the end too!

On a positive: The comedy parts were great (but stopped being a comedy after the first 30minutes or so ='[) It had a very beautiful opening shot once they finished with the 'this is what happened in the dorama' catch up. I also really liked the locations used (like the place with the giant tree! and I'm always a sucker for old looking Japanese places/houses) as well as the music (the music has always been amazing though!) which I now have playing in my head xD OH! There's also the costumes! Holy CRAP the costumes!! I seriously just want Nobunaga and Hideyoshi's outfits to lounge in at home cos they look freaking comfy as fuuuu!! I did shed a tear at the end scene with the video. The cute little Nobunaga and Chike figures were so cute too!!

But yes astetically it was beautiful but the story and development and climaz of the story were disappointing =[ I did feel unsatisfied at the end.

Rating: 5/10

PS. I'm seeing BASARA tonight (Friday night) so hopefully a review will be up Saturday night but Tuesday at the latest!
