Chapters 2 and 3 are basically Quiarilla Eats A Bunch Of Stuff And Exposits On Her Entire Menu For The Day, And Also Plays Outside Some In What Was Pretty Much My Backyard When I Was A Kid. Pretty much everything she eats is stuff I ate as a kid, as well. A sampling:
From chapter 2:
"lasanya (sic), green beans, peaches, rolls, of course, butterscotch pudding, and milk" (There's also an illustration with Quiarilla next to a bowl that says "Pudding" on it. The bowl is nearly as big as Qui herself. And then she wants more pudding. :/ )
From chapter 3:
Qui's breakfast: "French toast with extra butter and powdered sugar, orange juice, a danish roll, bacon, and milk" (I admit to still making my french toast like this)
Lunch: "Ham, cheese, and lettuce sandwiches, 'tater chips, must'rd, ma'naze, and french fries, and milk" (yes, I actually spelled "potato", "mustard", and "mayonnaise" like that. *hangs head in shame*)
Dinner: "Spaghetti, peaches, rolls, milk, and artichokes" (I'm surprised I didn't spell "spaghetti"
