Long time No post
So its been so long since I've posted, and with good reason, looking back on my older posts I realize how simple and carefree my teenage life was and how stupid I was to be doing the stuff I was doing. Times have changed though, and I find myself almost wishing that I could have the whims of my previous sixteen year old self. At least they were simple and easy, I'd go back and change so much. But I must remember to live without regrets, as regrets just lead to unfinished business.
I did manage to graduate from school, have my diploma on the bookshelf at the moment. So that makes me happy, I haven't gone back to school, but theres a reason for that. See my parents didn't give enough to make a trust fund for me for school. So I have to fund it all myself, okay fine that's great. But Dustin and I moved out of my mother's house in December.
Which brings me to the announcement that Dustin has been living up here for almost a year. Its pretty good. We live in our own apartment (its huge I want a smaller one) and while we enjoy living without parental constraints I find myself wanting the shelter of my parent's house so I can go to school and get a better job than working at Zellers. However I could not stand living at home anymore, it just wouldn't work.
Yes I work at Zellers (like a retarded version of K-Mart for my American friends), I used to work at the Brick but due to some stupid judgments on my part, as well my ex boss not understanding a situation I got fired. Thats okay though, because in the end they just screwed themselves over.
I finally got to meet Dylan and Jess, they were up the first week of March, it was kick-ass had so much fun! Had to work the entire time and then a day after they left I got fired (so now I'm regretting ever going all that week, fuck faced Brick). Jess and I got lost in Downtown Edmonton, went through a piss load of pedways, BUT WE MADE IT BACK! We went and ate at this AMAZING restuarant (The Japanese Village...MAKE YOUR RESVERATIONS AND GOOOOO ITS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD).
Dustin and I got a cat, (like we need another thing making a mess in this god damned place) its cute, and cuddly but it makes a huge mess because its still a kitten. I'm annoyed at it at the moment but then it looks all cute and I forget why....We've set a YEAR for a possible wedding!! This is an advancement folks! He only proposed me to over a year ago =P. But on my Zellers wage I don't see us holding a grand wedding. Really I don't.
Speaking of wage...I've worked for almost ten days straight now on a ten dollar an hour wage, and do you THINK I've hit 40 hours a week or even overtime? NO!!! I haven't its annoying, I'm tired and for what? 38.something hours in one week? JERKFACED ZELLERS GIMME 40 HOURS A WEEK GAAAAAH!
I finished a book, and am trying to get in published. Since no one has heard me bragging obviously its still in the "PLEASE PUBLISH ME I'LL GIVE YOU COOKIES!" Stage. I'm finding it hard to get published and its annoying, I WANT to be published ~mini trantrum~.
So I don't roleplay anymore, I don't do much of anything anymore...lol...I play World of Warcraft still (Level 70 Nightelf Druid Kayliyth Eonar Realm PST me!) But other than that....Dustin and mine lives are kinda...boring...We're hopefully going to Florida in October to see Dylan and Jess and god knows who else...Can't wait, I loved Florida last time I visited (which was the December he proposed to me!). Jess will be old enough to Bootleg should be LOTS of fun =). Need money to get my passport however....Hrm...Willing to Become a Trillionaire over night....
There's still snow, infact we got more snow on fuckin' Saturday annoying ANNOOOOOYINNNG. I don't want any more snow, I want warmth and I want it now, we've had snow since October and really it needs to go AWAY far far away! Hoping Dustin gets off work early today and we can meet up somewhere before I go into work that'd be cool. No garuntees though. Lucky bastard may get off early today WITH PAY. I mean seriously WTF I want a day off with pay! I can barely get a day off though! Annoyance.
So, I now talk to Andy its pretty funny, looking back at some older posts. I have nothing against the guy really anymore. He and Carol went out they broke up (totally predicted it too =P) and that was that. She's in Canada again and he's stuck in Michigan. Dustin and I will be going on 2.5 years here soon...Holy fuck, thats a long ass time. Anyways.
Edmonton People...NIGHTWISH IS COMING TO TOWN IN MAY...ZOMG! I'm utterly excited about that, I hope we have money for tickets because that'd be AWESOME! They got a new lead singer and she's good. She's old too! 0.o like 30 something, holy shit. And Avenged Sevenfold is coming to town too..I WANT TO SEE THEM SO BAD! Once again I hope we have the money the tickets for both are like 20-30 bucks a person. So its not terribly bad I suppose.
Wanting a maid, I work too many days and just don't have time to clean up. Must be old, horrible looking, work fast and quietly, and able to put up with the fact that men are lazy =P. ILU Dustin <3 Seriously though, this place is too big for me to keep up with. And there's just two of us!
Btw, Dylan and Jess our fouton cries at the mention of your names. =P
We're thinkin' about moving out to B.C. after Dustin gets his residency and things like that. Dylan and Jess and a few others of Dustin's good friends are moving up to the Vancouver area. So...Yolanda email me your cell and I'll call you up for coffee (Should be moving up there in about 2009,2010 area hopefully). Looking forward to that, the winters are really brutual out here again, and poor Dustin practically died. Hell so did I.
Anyways, got things to do before work...Like maybe find my kitchen!!! ZOMG A KITCHEN WTF IS THAT?!
