Summer Came, Summer Went.
So it came, it went...Well its almost went anyways. But yes alas, the summer is over. Back to school. But I'd like to take this moment to recap what's happened. As I've posted before, Dustin came up, and left. But at the time that I posted I wasn't too happy about him leaving. So lemme try this one again.
It was pretty cool, his plane got delayed and he didn't make his connection flight. So we had to wait till the Thursday to see each other. Then somewhere along the lines his luggage got lost. Then came customs. The customs lady looked about to beat me with her spiffy type flashlight. It was funny she talked with me and mum and finally half an hour later...Dustin got his first tackle by me. Well kinda. It was akward. I was shy and I hugged him but it felt good to finally...Hug him. So after that we finally get to the car, after introducing mum and Dustin, (poorly I may add, I suck at intro's). It was a balmy friggin' Thursday but there we were cuddling in the backseat of Larry's car. This was funny. He was in a leather jacket...And me in my work clothing (having gone to seven hours of work, before picking him up). So, we arrive at the hotel we were staying at...That was all cool got checked in...Found out that we did infact have chemistry ~.^
Before you ask, no we did not have sex in five minutes or less. Jesus >.< perverts. Ahem. Went to Superstore, grabbed food, went home. Home was interesting, he went for a shower, and guess who followed. Mum could've killed me. Infact she was breathing fire...Well...Theoretically if she could've she would've. The first weekend was rocky, mum wasn't used to me being out and about and things were off to a shakey start. But it got better! Yes indeed. Dustin stayed at my house for the rest of the three weeks, and in that time I quit my full time job, and decided to go back to highschool.
We went out, hung out at the mall, spent lots of money recklessly, it was awesome. Yes, he's coming back in December, making the funds up right now for him to be back here for Christmas, and I'm really excited about it. Extremely excited about it. I miss cuddling, sleeping in my big bed is no fun folks, just isn't fun!!
Right, there was Canada Day and my birthday, they kind of merged together. Awesome as hell. But during the Canada Day fireworks mum was watching Dustin and myself, we kept snuggling into each other and she was eyeing us like a freaking hawk! Jesus. It was scary as hell.
Then came Jay and Jeanne's wedding(which Dustin was not here for) the trip down was long, borning, and rainy. We got to Kelowna (where the wedding was held) and voila it was sunny! Yay! We could go play on the lake...Yeah right. The rain followed us and instead we went to Montana's for food, drew all over their table (you were allowed to! Chris drew a chick with boobies on mum's side of the table..and wrote OOO BOOBIES! Men -.-'') and then went to the crappy ass hotel room.
It was so not worth what mum paid. But the next day, their wedding, was awesome, we went to the wedding, then went to the lake with Mel and stuck our feet in and took pictures with Ogopogo (the lake monster of the Okanagon). The lake was beautiful. In some parts you can't even find the bottom, but man the water was so crystal clear, there was no silt just beautiful sand, omfg. It was awesome.
Speaking of awesome, on the way down to Kelowna (I know backtrack much Amanda? Lol) We went to Crazy Creeks (which is later going to be a Christian resort) and across this awesome suspention bridge, mum nearly pissed herself from fear. Got a great picture of a water fall, its on Deviant Art for those who know my DA account.
But anyways back to what I was saying. Went to the reception, Mel got smashed and Mum got pretty drunk, antidepression drugs do that to a person lol. Lots more pictures, I had one glass of wine, watched Jay and Jeanne dance their first dance. The first song "Here Without You" by Three Doors Down, got to me. Really it did, it made me cry later that night I cried to Mel and Chris, they were so understanding I just...Chris may be a jerk at times, but at least he's there to soak up your tears, and Mel. Jesus thank god for her too!
After that we left Kelowna bright and early the next morning, of course, this was after we went to the lake. Mmm it was so cold it made my nipples hurt, but man did it feel nice. Really nice. So INTO the car we hopped and a boiling trip to Banff. The hotel in Banff was so much better it was so worth it, even though it was boiling hot. We made it late that night, around nine o'clock that evening. Had dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory, and then watched T.v till later.
Next morning!! We went swimming in the salt water pool. I DON'T like salt water pools, my large breasts float in water normally, add salt and its worse. Yeah, then BACK into the car and off to Tofield to drop off the car (which was Chris's mum's cause ours just wouldn't make the trip). Grandma Rena gave us a fuckin' forest. But its a beautiful forest lol.
Other than that, sitting around, working and playing World of Warcraft. Lots of fun, yup yup. I miss Dustin but thats okay!! He's coming back, other than that. School, starts on September 5th, if anyone likes to know. Hope it goes well for me! Other than that byes!!
