The Simlympics Day 2. The Great Maze Escape and The Dance Sphere of Doom
Welcome back to Fantasyville! Yesterday we saw some tough competition and today each universe competed in two more fantastic events. Today's competition began with the ever popular Maze Escape. Each team had a single representative within the maze. The rules were simple, the first 3 to escape would make a trip to the medal stand. Let's see how the team's fared!
The Great Maze Escape!
So everyone started out in the center of the maze. I expected the competitors to be more competitive. But everyone seemed to like standing around drumming their fingers on their side.
Sim Mystery seems lost.
It should be noted that the maze is filled with distractions as well as dead ends. Let's hope none of our seven challengers fall for any of that and keep their eyes on the prize.
Nicoli Mobacy..a new addition to Team Mobacy is the first to get moving. He may have arrived late through the portal, but at least he seems to understand the rules of the game.
But despite getting a head start it's Team Ash that makes it out of the maze first! This is the team's first medal of the competition and it's a Gold.
Team Fuzzy seems to have found one of the items meant to distract the competition. And it seems to be working.
Ashley has wandered back into the maze to complain about the shrubbery. Apparently she wanted to push Fuzzy on the swing?
Meanwhile elsewhere in the maze Mystery, Nona, and Kindle all seem to be trying to find the panda chair so they can sit down. They seem to have forgotten they are trying to get out of the maze. Or perhaps they've already thrown in the towel.
After all, Mystery seems extremely lost and confused.
She just keeps wandering around in circles with Nona and Kindle following her around. They must think that she has an advantage since she's representing the home universe in this event, but she's really not doing well at all.
Nicoli Mobacy after getting stuck in a few dead ends manages to make his way out of the maze. Team Mobacy takes home another silver.
Fuzzy is still enjoying her time on the swing set.
Meanwhile Mystery seems to have found what she was looking for. She Gem and Nona have all decided they'd rather blow bubbles than try to win a medal.
And poor Kindle seems to be too afraid to walk around in the maze by herself. Will any of the other four teams win the bronze?
Yep! Team Fuzzy takes the Bronze. "Oh come on you had a bubble blower in there....I had plenty of time to enjoy a good swing and still get a medal."
Well I guess we can't argue with results.
Kindle: "Guys, I think we need to head back to the hotel. I think they are ready to start the next event."
Nona: *Heehee!"

The Dance Sphere of Doom!
Inderb Ursini was up first. She only managed to ride the Sphere of doom for 4 seconds.
Crow: You know what would make this event even better? A juice bar.
Crow went next and managed to ride the Sphere for 7 seconds.
Despite the fact that betting on the events was not a popular discussion the day before Crow and Aiden struck it up again.
Team Fuzzy manged to ride longer than any other team so far in the competition. 11 seconds. She's certainly set the bar high for the rest of the contestants.
I'm not exactly sure what Sam is talking about folks. It certainly seems to have Nicoli and observer Jo quite confused.
Team Starr was up next. I'm sure this particular competitor feels the need to redeem himself for his previous performance during day one. It has to be embarrassing for a true olympian to get taken out of the simlympic games.
Oh that look like it hurt, but Aiden managed to a quite respectable 13 second ride. That's the longest yet.
Now Aiden that's not very nice. Ani-Mei tell your sim to be nice to Inde. I mean compared to some of the sims living in this neighborhood *cough* Osha *cough* Inderb is very pretty.
Jo was not Team Mobacy's representative...her new arrival Nicoli is certainly being asked to pull his weight. Jo insisted on being present though so she could see how he did.
Jo: "20 seconds? That's it? That's all you could do?"
And the crowd continues to place wagers on the events. Or at least some of them do.
NIcoli: "19 seconds? I deman a recount! No way Ashley stayed on that long."
Even after a recount which Nicoli insited on Team Ashley earned a score of 19 seconds.
The last competitor of the day was Sam. She managed to ride the sphere for 6 seconds beforee falling out. She was the only contestant who became ill during today's events.
