The Simlympics: Majhong!
Good evening and welcome back to the Simlypics hosted by Mystery and the sims of Fantasyville! Last time we saw the Log Roll competition. And now it's time to see how our teams fared at the Mahjong Table. We will begin by introducing each team's competitors and then move directly into the competition.
Team Fuzzy is represented by its lone competitor Fuzzy Spork. She took home a Silver medal in the Log Roll. Can she bring home another medal today?
Team Ash is represented by its lone competitor Ashley. Ashley was eliminated from the first round of competition of the Log Roll. Hopefully she'll do better today.
Team Mystery is represented by Toren Vijayakar. With his legendary skills on the chess table, his creator is hoping he'll do well at this test of logic.
Team Frog is represented by simself Sam. Her team was represented by Sam's creation Nona at the Log Roll event. Nona nearly took home a medal, but was defeated by Sisika from Team Shadow. Sam is hoping for better luck today.
Team Shadow is represented by Koko Huinke. As a knowledge sim, she's another favorite in this competition. During the Log Roll Team Shadow took home a bronze medal. They are hoping to build on earlier success.
Team Starr is represented by Simself Ani-Mei Starr today. Hopefully today will give Team Starr its first medal.
And finally Team Mobacy is represented by 2 competitors today. Sim Jo and her daughter Osha Fantasy are hoping that 2 heads are better than 1. Alright folks let's get the games started!
Round 1:
Match 1: Jo vs Ashley
"Good luck Ash."
"Thanks Jo. You too."
Fuzzy: "Hey Toren 50 simoleons says the old lady loses again."
Osha: "You can't bet on my mom!"
Sam: "Hey Toren! My stocks are doing great how about yours?"
Toren: "I don't invest in the stock market."
Osha continues to stare daggers at Fuzzy for even considering betting against her mom.
And as it turns out Fuzzy would have lost those 50 simoleons since Jo won her game! Jo advances to the finals!
Match 2: Toren Vijayakar vs Osha Fantasy
Ashley: "So how's the air pollution here?"
Fuzzy: "Hey Jo, did someone hit your daughter with a tennis racket because she has the ugliest face."
Osha: "Mom, MOM! Watch me! Hey mom you're not watching!"
Jo: "Yes dear, I'm watching."
Osha: "I'm gonna make you proud I'm your daughter."
Osha: "Hey Toren you and your wife ever use hand-cuffs?"
Toren:"Wha???"
Osha: "Heehee I win!"
Oh and it looks like Osha brought her A game. She managed to distract Toren and advances to the finals with her mom! Team Mobacy has 2 chances to win a medal!
Match 3: Ani-Mei Starr vs Koko Hunike
Ashley to Toren: "I mean I can't live anywhere that has a ton of air pollution!"
Osha: "We do not have air pollution. No one here even owns a car."
Osha: "Hey guys my husband and I made out this morning. Anyone else make-out with anyone recently?"
Sam: "Jo is your daughter always like this?"
Koko: "It would be exciting to get on that medal stand wouldn't it?"
Ani-Mei: "Yep...good luck old friend."
Koko: "You too."
Fuzzy: "You two are such pansies. Where's your competitive edge?"
Ani-Mei: "It's just a game Fuzzy."
Osha: "We're supposed to be best friends here."
Fuzzy: "I'm not even friends with any of you in this universe yet. I'm taking home the gold baby!"
Ani-mei: "So anyway...those clouds look nasty. I hope we aren't in for any bad weather."
Koko: "Oh I hope we don't have any precipitation as well. It would put such a damper on the experience."
And so Ani-Mei wins her match! Team Starr advances to the final round. And now it's time to see if Fuzzy can back up all this trash talk she's been doing.
Match 4: Sam vs Fuzzy
Fuzzy: "You can kiss your medal dreams good-bye sister!"
"Anyone want to put money on this?"
"No wait how about some gold?"
Osha: "Are you insane? It's NOT proper to bet on the simlmpic games!"
Toren: "Can't we all just get along here?"
Ani-Mei thinking: "Clearly Toren isn't used to the drama that simselves put into a neighborhood."
Fuzzy: "Read and weep sista!"
So with Fuzzy winning her round against Sam Team Fuzzy advances to the Final Round. How this will work. All four remaining sims will compete at one table. The first person to win takes gold, the secnd will take silver, and the third will take the bronze. So let's see what happens!
Round 2: Fuzzy vs Jo vs Osha vs Ani-Mei
Fuzzy: "Come on old lady I haven't got all day."
Osha Fantasy takes home the gold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ani-Mei: "You must be so proud of your baby."
Jo: "I am very proud."
Fuzzy: "Yeah yeah. I'm taking silver again."
Jo: "No you're not! The OLD lady is taking silver!"
Jo: "Go get her Ani-Mei!"
And Ani-Mei Starr takes home bronze. Poor Fuzzy came close, but not this time.
Fuzzy: "Well Majhong's not a real sport anyway."
Ani-Mei: "Whoo!"
Even with the hail falling on top of her head Osha stood basking in glory! "Mom we won 2 medals coan you belive it!"
Jo: "Yeah yeah that's great. Ani-Mei you go stand over there. There's less hail on this side."
Ani-Mei: "Not happening."
So at the end of Event 2 here are the current Medal Standings:
