(no subject)
so i'm starting to get the impression that i'm not going to be able to graduate on time...
not only are paula richman and james dobbins taking a sabbatical next year, but i have a very strong inkling that bill friedman is too.
so basically, that means no classes for mathilda. i probably really shouldn't have gone abroad this semester. oh well. they've gotta at least try to be accomodating.
otherwise, london is going pretty well. this is the first semester that i've had time to relax and hang out with people without thinking i should be doing something else. the only thing is, my best friends are, for all intents and purposes, on the other side of the world. but life is what you make it, and i'm feeling like i'm making it something good.
oh, and british people seem to love american tv. while stuck on the couch with a nasty cold, i have watched a CSI marathon, two episodes of star trek voyager, and now i am watching some weird movie about post-traumatic stress disorder starring angelina jolie and britany murphy. ? right, well, like i said, london is going pretty well. :)
