Now, I'm no Britney Spears fan.  I totally didn't even watch the VMAs.  Yet I feel sorry for the girl.  I mean, she's had two kids, give her a break already.  Girlfriend looks like she eats and drinks like the rest of us -- unforgivable indeed.  And let's face it, how much enthusiasm could YOU squeeze out of:
