There were several kinds of couples in EXO; there was Sehun and Luhan, the adorable ’kids in love’. There was Yifan and Zitao who looked really cold and stony, but who were both really sensitive and cheesy, something that caused an endless amount of teasing. Joonmyun and Kyungsoo were the umma and the appa of EXO-K, and probably the couple with the least amount of PDA. Baekhyun and Chanyeol were the weird, mismatched and therefore perfect couple; Chanyeol was a near-constant hyperactive Happy Virus, while Baekhyun was a bit calmer and a lot saner. However, Baekhyun took all of Chanyeol’s antics with an amused smile or an endeared laugh. Minseok and Yixing was the couple that constantly misunderstood each other because of language barriers and differences in personalities, but they laughed it off and put it behind them with a sweet kiss.
Then there was Jongin and Jongdae. They were exceptions to the rule, both of them. Jongin proclaimed to be straight, although no one really believed it; Jongin would sleep with anyone he could lure into his bed (or whose bed he could crawl into) if he was horny enough. And Jongin was horny a lot.
Jongdae was the only really straight one out of the twelve. Sometimes the other members wondered if he was asexual, too, because they never really heard him whining for sex. Then again, if he was asexual, they guessed he wouldn’t put up with constantly being the victim of Jongin’s advances whenever the whole of EXO was together.
It all worked out pretty well. It wasn’t for certain that all couples shared a room, which was good, because it was doubtful whether anyone ever would have gotten a good night’s sleep then. The only couple that were in different groups, Sehun and Luhan, had a neat little arrangement; if the other wasn’t available - in the same country, via Skype, or phone - they had chosen one person in their own group they were allowed to sleep with lest they become desperate. Sehun had naturally chosen Jongin, as they were the same age and Jongin was single, and luckily Yifan and Zitao had agreed to take Luhan into their bed sometimes.
It had happened more than a few times that someone “cheated”, but it wasn’t a very big deal; they were a big group of young men with certain needs and they were all really good friends. Each couple was very well aware that if it was with someone else, it was just sex - if it was with each other, on the other hand, it was love.
They didn’t have a couple that was particularly horny, but Baekhyun and Chanyeol were walked in on a lot. Joonmyun, Yifan, Zitao and Luhan shared a theory that it was because they were so silent. There were no loud moans or whimpers coming from their room. They could only be heard if it was completely silent, little sighs and murmurs of pleasure, but it was extremely rare that the EXO dorms were silent.
This was exactly why Joonmyun managed to walk in on them one fateful Friday afternoon to tell them dinner was ready. The others were creating chaos in the kitchen while Kyungsoo desperately tried to calm them down, only managing to add to the chaos. EXO-M was in Korea for a few days, which meant a double workload even if Yifan was there and the M-members usually were calmer than the K-member - that obviously wasn’t the case on reunion night. Joonmyun sighed and rubbed his temple, before he opened the door to Baekhyun and Chanyeol’s shared room without bothering to knock.
He regretted it the moment his brain registered what he was seeing and he froze in the doorway.
On the bed most visible from the doorway, Chanyeol was sitting in Baekhyun’s lap. Both of them were completely naked, their clothes in a heap on the floor, and, oh, Joonmyun really could’ve been without the front row view to how Baekhyun’s cock disappeared into Chanyeol as the taller of the slowly rose up on his knees and sank back down just a little quicker.
Neither of them noticed Joonmyun as Chanyeol’s forehead had dropped to Baekhyun’s shoulder and Baekhyun had his face turned towards Chanyeol’s. From where he was standing, Joonmyun could see everything. He could see how Chanyeol’s back muscles flexed with each movement, he could see the reddening finger imprints on his hips as Baekhyun momentarily let go of them to let his fingers brush across his lover’s neck, carding through sweaty brown strands. Joonmyun pulled a hand through his hair and leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. He closed his eyes for a moment but quickly opened them again as the image seemed etched into his mind.

“Were they having sex?” Sehun bluntly asked and Jongin spit his orange juice all over the unfortunate Kyungsoo, who was sitting next to him, as he burst out laughing.
“No,” Joonmyun corrected softly, smiling a little at the confused expressions he elicited, “they were making love.”
