I hope everyone is having a fabulous holiday even my non-US friends. We are going to the zoo for Thanksgiving. My boys do not care for the usual Thanksgiving foods, they want the Peanuts Thanksgiving type dinner, toast, popcorn, pretzels, jellybeans. Since we have not been invited to go elsewhwere and we are having no one to join us for dinner we decided that the best thing for this family to do is something more unique. The St Louis Zoo is open on Thanksgiving so we are going tomorrow to visit the animals and then go out for dinner after. It will be rather chilly but we are really looking forward to it. I am thinking of it as training for my future as a sailor. I want to be one of these types that is too wimpy to sail on a cold wet day. :cD I hope to take lots of pictures. Hopefully there will be some to show here.
This thanksgiving I am thankful for all of my LJ friends. Quite a few of you have been new friends in the past year and you have added so much to my world. And I don't know how many times you have all been supportive and understanding when I needed it so much. ((((HUGS))))
I wish I could have you all here with me. I make an amazing, super pecan-y, pecan pie. I would love to feed you all.
