97 weeks ago...

97 weeks ago I made my last post... wow has it been a whirl-wind. Today is my birthday and last year this time I had a baby in my belly. Now she is napping and being awesome. The Daddy, and mighty wonderful man in my life, is Michael Strange. I suppose I could gush about love here, but you all know how sappy I am. (THAT'S SNUGGLESETT TO YOU!!

I wondered if he was your son or what. I just figured it didn't really matter because you clearly love him so it doesn't matter where he's from. Vivian seemed fitting in so many different ways. Super congrats on your new marriage! Do we live near each other?

I live in Southern Oregon now, I have for about....oh...almost five years! I met Gabe after I'd been here for about six months, moved in with him six months later, got engaged on our 4th anniversary in June, and then just got married. It's been an amazing journey, and it just keeps getting better!

One of my dearest friends is living in So. Oregon now. She lives near Medford. She has recently been linked up with a group of native American women who do native ritual (sweat lodges and such) near Mt. Shasta. Are you close to Medford?

I think we met at RetroHaven (Kip and Karla's house) The details are foggy... was I naked? I was naked there more than half the time I was there!! Did I freak you out? I have a real talent for that type of thing! Remind me. I feel like a goldfish sometimes!
My friends name is Jennefer Johnson. I call her JJ and she likes that. She says she can identify the people she knows through me by the ones who call her JJ.
She thought you might be conservative because you live in Medford. I told her I think you are a witch and seem very open minded. She was glad to hear that. She lives in Ashland which is where her man is orig. from. Are you from Oregon? She is from Georgia.

I thought you were looking for work or something. I love being a "stay at home" _______________ fill in the blank!! I say MOM which thrills me to no end.
I do remember being on the back porch with you. I remember your hair vaguely but mostly your face. I always joke that you can't really call yourself my friend until you have seen me nude or mostly nude. I am happy I could shine you up while in ATL.
JJ does know you will be calling and loves coffee.

I love being a mom, a grandmother, and now a wife. I have everything I never knew I wanted! And, I am grateful!

During your absence from LJ - a lot happened.
Bottom line - I was sick. Really sick. Almost died sick. Cancer. Twice. plus - radioactive treatment to kill my overachiever of a thyroid, a gall bladder full of stone, kidney infections that hospitalized me...the list goes on, a complication at every turn, three major surgeries within the last 4 months of 2006, internal bleeding, allergic reactions to blood transfusions...it was all insane!
I met Gabe just before that - I weight upwards of 300 pounds. He saw me through all of that, and asked me to marry him on our 4th anniversary (that was June of this year).
We'll catch up as time goes on, or, whatever, but that's the gist of it.
I moved to Oregon between cancer #1 and 2, and met Gabe 6 months after I got here. We've been living together for 4 years on December 1st.

Gosh I'm glad you are alive! You would think your daughter would be nicer! JJ says coffee would be great this week. Just give her a buzz. Your figure looks great now and I hope all the bad stuff is out of your system! It is amazing what love can do isn't it!

Oh, I'm finished with 'the sick', we're aall done with that now!

I should hear from my Ashland friend this morning, and hopefully I get to go there to pick up my wedding photos CD! I'll try and get in touch with JJ at that time, it would be fun to meet her.

I'm very glad to be alive....and so I'm putting my time to good use :-)
