97 weeks ago I made my last post... wow has it been a whirl-wind. Today is my birthday and last year this time I had a baby in my belly. Now she is napping and being awesome. The Daddy, and mighty wonderful man in my life, is Michael Strange. I suppose I could gush about love here, but you all know how sappy I am. (THAT'S SNUGGLESETT TO YOU!! ( Read more... )

yep, we met at RetroHaven, you did NOT freak me out (I've been waiting for you to come back in to my world, silly!)
I remember being stoned together, more so than being naked....though, I was in that hot tub a few times, and I did a couple of photoshoots in RetroHaven (I am pretty sure that while I was 'working', I was wearing at least a sarong! do you remember my long, long fuchsia colored hair at the time?)
I also had my labrette pierced while I was in Atlanta!

Gabe got over his 'honeymoon fever' in time to make it in to work on Friday. He's up there on the food chain, so it was no big deal. He works for a fabulous landscaping company here in the valley :-)

I look forward to talking with JJ. I do indeed identify as a witch - some call me a green witch, and some a kitchen witch...I adore both! I grow stuff.(and then I like to cook it, make incense with it, or make a nice fresh flower arrangement out of it!
That is satisfying to me!
Does she know that I'm going to call?
This might put her mind at ease...I'm originally from Seattle! Though, I adore being a hippie in Oregon, too!

Ashland is about 17 miles from me - I'm actually going there some time this week to pick up my wedding photos CD. Maybe she'd be up for coffee?

If she's struggling in photoshop, she might be interested in lightroom! I can do that for her!

job front? I usually tell people that I'm a stay at home grandmother....now I say that, and that I'm a housewife (that never, ever sounded good to me - until I got married!)

I thought you were looking for work or something. I love being a "stay at home" _______________ fill in the blank!! I say MOM which thrills me to no end.
I do remember being on the back porch with you. I remember your hair vaguely but mostly your face. I always joke that you can't really call yourself my friend until you have seen me nude or mostly nude. I am happy I could shine you up while in ATL.
JJ does know you will be calling and loves coffee.

your shine is everlasting, dear sprite...of this I can attest!

I love being a mom, a grandmother, and now a wife. I have everything I never knew I wanted! And, I am grateful!

During your absence from LJ - a lot happened.
Bottom line - I was sick. Really sick. Almost died sick. Cancer. Twice. plus - radioactive treatment to kill my overachiever of a thyroid, a gall bladder full of stone, kidney infections that hospitalized me...the list goes on, a complication at every turn, three major surgeries within the last 4 months of 2006, internal bleeding, allergic reactions to blood transfusions...it was all insane!
I met Gabe just before that - I weight upwards of 300 pounds. He saw me through all of that, and asked me to marry him on our 4th anniversary (that was June of this year).
We'll catch up as time goes on, or, whatever, but that's the gist of it.
I moved to Oregon between cancer #1 and 2, and met Gabe 6 months after I got here. We've been living together for 4 years on December 1st.

Gosh I'm glad you are alive! You would think your daughter would be nicer! JJ says coffee would be great this week. Just give her a buzz. Your figure looks great now and I hope all the bad stuff is out of your system! It is amazing what love can do isn't it!

Oh, I'm finished with 'the sick', we're aall done with that now!

I should hear from my Ashland friend this morning, and hopefully I get to go there to pick up my wedding photos CD! I'll try and get in touch with JJ at that time, it would be fun to meet her.

I'm very glad to be alive....and so I'm putting my time to good use :-)
