i saw the dark knight with david and christine last night, 12:30 screening. my first midnight premiere! (how exciting!) and in all honesty, heath ledger's performance, alone, made the whole movie worthwhile, and i'm not just saying that because he passed away, which is very unfortunate, rest in peace, but his performance really was what everyone expected it to be. before the movie was even shot, who would've thought that heath ledger would've made an excellent joker. oddly enough, i have never been more attracted to him, and to clarify, not based on his appearance in the movie (duh!), but on his versatility as an actor of course! christopher nolan is genius.
i got home about a half hour past three, and finally went to bed at four. today, i woke up exactly at noon, continued reading perkz for an about an hour until i was one letter into part three, at which my eyes felt heavy, put the book down to go back to sleep and woke up at five. i haven't been sleeping well this week, and i suppose it was nice getting twelve hours of sleep today, although i usually feel extra crummy waking up in the afternoon to see that half the day is already gone. right now, i feel crummy, half for that reason and half for the reason that my back is sore and my chest is aching, but i am happy nonetheless. i am feeling simultaneously crummy and happy.
now i will leave you with a clip from the ultra-old series, when robin turns his back on batman:
