One of the communities in the LJ spotlight this week is ringer_tv, a community of fans for the new tv series, Ringer. The show has only aired one? episode so far, so I find it hard to believe it's such a thriving community that it caught the attention of the powers that be at LJ. It's aired three episodes and, yes, I'm assuming it's because of SMG's fanbase. FYI, there's been buzz about it for months and months. And, no, I am not a SMG fan, nor a huge fan of the show, but it's not unusual in this day and age for fansites to be well-organized and huge.

Yeah, but generally they grow huge, they don't start that way. It all just seems about as spontaneous as all of American Idol's judges just happening to be drinking out of Coca-Cola cups.
