Things are starting to look up a little. The school still hasn't called me back ("Leave your name, number, and problem and we'll get back to you as soon as possible" must translate into "Yeah, we're busy and we really don't want to talk to you, but if you tell us your name, number, and problem, it'll give us all a good laugh and you'll leave us alone because you'll think we're doing our job.") but I'll call them later.
Yeasterday, David, Melissa, and I went out to cask my check and the asshole at the window at CCB said that Melissa had to have enough money to cover my check (which was impossible as she hasn't been able to work for since New Years Eve). David offered, but he didn't have that much either. So we went to Wachovia and I had to get the guy to cash it and all he could do was tell me stuff I already knew, like "We have to charge you a [f*cking] finance fee unless you get an account." Unfortunatly I can't because I'm still paying off CCB. So I tearfully returned to the car, feeling a bit pathetic and a lot like no one wanted me to do anything.
In retrospect, it's kinda like Lufia and other RPGs. You can't *just* to through the tower or *just* find one guy to fix something. You also have to find the guy's partner, and then find the thing that needed to be fixed again because it's in the dungeon somewhere, and then you have to find a way to get on the ledge so you can watch them fix it from able so they don't mess up. In the case of towers, you also have to help the town or find someone or something stupid like that (that you do without question because you have to).
Anyway, we went to the Captain D's that David used to work at and he was silly and entered in our order and then called it back with a robotic voice. We ate and I started to feel somewhat better. Then we went to PetsMart.
I tracked down Mark and talked to him about the Grooming job again. He happily jotted down something and told me to be in at 8. At first, I was annoyed as I can't wake up at 8 without missing Futurama and Family and possibly even the stuff before that. Not to mention that it would mean I'd wake up areound 6am. :p I went around and found David and Melissa looking at the birds. We went to the cat section and looked at the toys, collars, and bowls, deciding to go to Wallmart. But not before Daivd suggested that we go to Celebration Station for some DDR and mini golf.
I learned that I am not ready to do Breakdown on Standard mode outside of on the computer. ;_; We played golf and gave Melissa a handicap (we kicked the ball in for her a few time) and we would agree on some of the scores when one of us didn't really wait for the ball to stop when we hit it again (If one persone said 4 and the other said 3, it was 3.5). In the end, I had a point or two above Melissa (I suck at Mini Golf) which was like 56. David had 49(asshole). Being that he had the lowest score, he said that he lost (we know better, it's just more fun this way) and he was buying ice cream. While we were playing, I got a call from Tara (one of my bosses), who told me to come in at 1p today instead of 8a.
Then we went to WalMart and pushed Melissa around in a wheelchair. Lots of fun. We got a few things like coasters that will actually work instead of spilling water everywhere. I got some pants (with pockets ^_^) and I'll probably end up going to Rugged Warehouse(sp?) with David and looking into getting pants like his with lots of pockets since he says they're only $10. I also get a notebook that's purple with a white flower-looking design and the caracters for courage on it. I'm using that for my story stuff. Then I got socks (I thought they were longer but they just cover my ankles >.<) and I bought everyone a soda. We came home and played Sonic Adventure 2 and Fur Fighters.
I'm feeling better now, though I still would like to go to school this semester.
