It has certainly been a while.
I've been a bit out of sorts for the past 5 months, what with piano and school taking up most of my time and energy. I almost died one time when I got this evil stomach virus that had me crawling around the house like a worm for days. What's more, I've missed more than a week of schoolwork and tests/quizzes because I had to go to Missouri for a competition. So basically everything sucks right now.
I just came back from a recital at a country club. I messed up at certain parts but didn't stop playing so the old ladies (who made up 99.87% of the population at the club) didn't notice. I also got a certificate and a check of $1,100. I like the certificate. It's nice and green.
I'm also going to the school prom on Saturday. I'm hoping it won't be a completely awful time because I'm going with my friend and it would just be a shame to be miserable.
So I've decided to just write little blurbs on this livejournal, periodically. This way I won't feel like I'm wasting ljspace and still have enough time to do other things, as well. :) This idea is making me feel smart :)
