Two Spanish essays due tomorrow and a 5-page paper due Thursday?
Aye, I think it's time for a post.
Today I had a cup of cereal for breakfast, then an apple for lunch. I forgot to bring lunch money and wanted to go home instead of getting a Jamba Juice, sooo...
I went home on a bus, which arrived at the stop about fifteen minutes late. I ended up sitting next to a lady reading a book, and only halfway through the bus ride did I notice her bookmark --
A bookthong if you ask Kathy,
a bookthing if you ask me, and
"floss with handles" if you ask Paul Jones.
Turns out she got it a couple of years ago from a friend who went to San Diego, plus she works in the Student Health/Wellness Center at ASU, plus she's a nurse practitioner! Apparently she lives fairly close to me, too. I'll have to talk with her again sometime.
After I got home, I spread some homework out on the kitchen table in the hopes that some of it would somehow get done, then baked a pizza for dinner (the frozen kind) and made some pretty yummy cheese tortellini (also the frozen kind) with chicken broth, celery, cream of mushroom soup, peas and carrots (frozen -- we have two freezers full of edibles), and a tad bit of canned salmon.
Canned salmon is what canned tuna wishes it were/was. It's sort of tuna-y, but about 7 times better. I ate about a third of the can by itself. :9
Someday, I will master the subjunctive tense in English.
Meanwhile, Ima gonna work on mis ensayos para mi clase de espanol!!
