Volunteered for five hours today -- changed two diapers, fed two or three babies, went downstairs to pharmacy once, stuck pacifiers in numerous babies' mouths, went downstairs to lab four times, changed linens in a crib, restocked bandaids and gauze squares, rearranged "quikheel" lancets, took two babies back to moms, took two babies to nursery from rooms, restocked postpartum kitchen, re-wrapped about seven babies, made admit packets, etc.
I was busy nearly the entire time. :)
I think I'd like to be a nurse. With a double-major or a minor in Spanish. And a darkroom and enlarger in my house. :)
Lee Anne's leaving for China in less than eight hours. I should be doing homework. Ovaltine is yummy.
