No sign of Nick. Surprise! No further comment.
Les received his referral in the mail, so I rang the clinic and asked for the first available appointment. He will have the scan today at 2.30. I think we will both feel better when we know what is wrong, and if anything can be done. Dr. Graham seems to think it can.
We were sitting on the front porch last night with a glass of bubbly, as is our want, when a woman passed taking her dog for 'walkies', plastic bag in hand. She is one of the good ones, many people still allow their dogs to foul other peoples gardens, even though it is illegal now to do so. Anyway, as she passed she called out 'The house is looking good' to which I replied 'Thank you'. Les laughed and said 'she should see the inside'. Yes, quite!
And now, a pic of the pumpkin patch, which is now four times the size it was 6 weeks ago, and advances on the house by about a foot per day.
and 2 babies, 2 and 3 days old.
Also, a nice surprise in the garden, the rose that was demolished when the pine tree came down on top of it, and which I believed had died came back from the dead this week and produced this bloom.
