Today I am a Gentleman of Leisure
I dropped off my daughters to their mothers. I went and filled out some necessary stuff at work. I dropped off my Xbox 360 at the UPS Store, to be sent to Micro$oft for repair. Pipes is off, shopping with her brother, Rob. I bought cat food and a couple of other items at Petco. Then I went for a late lunch / early dinner to-go:
Mediterranean Salad and Whole Grain Tuscan Fettuccine with parmesan-crusted chicken breast, from Noodles & Co.. A Power-sized Razzmatazz from Jamba Juice, with delicious mango substituted for yucky bananas. For dessert, I have chocolate or sherbet.
If I could turn off the doorbell and my phones, I would. I turned down the thermostat and put a blanket on my bed, because that's how I like it. (But almost never allow myself, especially during this heat wave!)
I'm settling into my bed with Deathly Hallows, taking up the story again in the middle of chapter nine.
I may even fall asleep for awhile.
Oh yeah, and do the dishes.
Maybe.
