And in the night after the first day of the month, I didn't write enough words, but I through my first two plans overboard and plotted a NaNovel which gives me both structure (as the first 15 chapters are based on "actual events that happened") and freedom (as there are 3-4 years of wandering around of which nothing is known, so I'm free to invent ( Read more... )

Do you know what NaNoWriMo is about? NaNoWriMo is the "National Novel Writing Month" where crazed writers try to type at least 50.000 words in only 30 days - starting November 1st - without much sleep inbetween, in many cases. But I suppose many of you know that already, so I'll say:
