leaves... falling...
First of all, happy autumn to everyone! Ah, yes, as of yesterday at 6:23 EDT, we in the Northern hemisphere officially left summer behind us. Once again living in the north, I am looking forward to watching the leaves change; in Virginia the colors were not as vibrant and contrasting as I remembered them to be in NY, where I grew up. As this is my first fall living in PA, I guess I'll find out how the foliage compares.
I've been spending money like a madwoman, but it will probably slow down now. The most notable expenditure was a digital camera -- this is the one I bought. (Well, almost -- I bought the C-755, which is identical in its specs. but did not come with a battery charger.) You can see some views of the C-755 here.
I also bought hiking boots for my trip upstate this weekend to meet sennomo. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and I will be tolerable company ;) In any case, I am getting out of Harrisburg for a few days on a little adventure. And those of you who know me know that I'm all for a bit of adventure now and then.
My coffee is almost cold and way too strong. I figured I should take the first cup as I was up way too late last night. Am I sorry? Not yet, but I probably will be when headlights start to blur later this evening ;)
Anyway, hope all is well in lj-land. I may do that 20 random things about me meme. Don't hold your breath, though. (I see you shiver with antici...pation!)
