missing person report
When friends start sending messages wondering what happened to you, it's time for an update. I just sent two e-mails assuring people I wasn't dead and gone, and that everything was going well, so I figured I'd share the same info here, in a less "cryptic" lj entry :)
I'm still job hunting. I applied for a job I'm very interested in last week Friday, but I probably won't hear anything on that for a while. This Friday I have an interview with a woman from my Dad's real estate office. They're looking for someone to do temp secretarial work until they find someone more permanent. It's income and experience, the way I see it.
On the more personal front, I've been away three out of the past four weekends (as I was informed last night by the wonderful person who has been the cause of my absence).
I've been enjoying myself thoroughly, but I'm sorry I haven't been around as much online to talk to all the other cool folks.
Well, on to the more mundane tasks (paying the rent, cleaning up, getting someone to come look at my leaky pipes (and no, that's not innuendo)) before going out to eat with my parents. I think we're having Japanese...if so, yay!
