Chicago Trip

So, I had a sort of fun time in Chicago. Bad story first. My "best friend" Mandy is a whiny little baby. The museum I was so excited about going to? Didn't get to go because of her. My dad had a hangover from the reception and decided he didn't want to go, so it was going to be just me, my sister, and Mandy. Mandy doesn't want to go into Chicago without "adult supervision". SHE'S 22 YEARS OLD! SHE IS AN ADULT! She doesn't like me telling her this, so she just leaves and goes to a mall she's never been to down the road by herself. Yes, because that's so much safer. She even got my sister to go with her. So I ended up stuck at the hotel by myself all day and I didn't get to go see the lions.
Funny story:
The train we were supposed to take into the city was full and it passed us by. The next one was running 12 minutes late and it wasn't coming for another 20 minutes. We had no choice but to take it since everyone else was already headed up to the church in downtown. We were coming from Lisle/Downers Grove and it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to get into the city, so we were 10 minutes late for the ceremony. My dad was singing and there was another girl on the train who was reading a scripture and a poem for the ceremony. The train FINALLY pulled into Union Station (3 blocks from the church) and we took off. Dad and Erin (the girl) ran full on off the platform and into the terminal. By the time me, my sister, my two greatcousins, and Erin's mom got to the terminal, dad and Erin were no where in sight. We got up to the street (all of us running as well) and still didn't see them. There was a man sitting on the corner and he said, "Are you following a man in a tux? He went that way!" It was like a scene from a movie. A big group of people in formal wear and high heels running through downtown Chicago. When we finally made it into the church, I was a bit sweaty and panting! And it was during a prayer, so I had to pant quietly. Very hard to do.

Anyway, here are SOME of the pictures I took:

I took more on my dad's camera that he's going to upload tonight or tomorrow, so I'll add those when I get them.
