Zai Jian, Xiao Tian!

I was feeling restless while studying so I decided to take a break by watching some clips of ZaiZai. I've been DLing them but I didn't have the time to watch them. I chose the DV clips taken by fans during the VIC Gathering in Shanghai last 6/23.

He performed more than 10 songs. So it's like a mini-concert. Vicpower also had a surprise gift for him for his 26th birthday. He was kinda wary when a VP JM went to the stage. He probably remembered the previous events when he couldn't help but cry when he saw VP's gifts for him.

So here's the gift...

It's a model of the school VP re-built in his name. In appreciation, the school was renamed to 愛心動力周育民馬家河小學 - Ai Xin Dong Li Zhou Yu Min Ma Jia He Xiao Cue. It literally means:

愛心 (ai xin): caring
動力 (dong li): power
周育民 (zhou yu min): ZaiZai's real name - "育" and "渝" have the same pronunciation.
馬家河 (ma jia he): location of the school
小學 (xiao cue): elementary school

You could see that he was really touched by the gesture. He wrote a message for the students. And he signed it, "Zhou Yu Min, Xiao V & Bao Long" (ZaiZai, Vanness & Jerry)! I'm not too sure about the meaning of the message. It started with "tian..." So I guess that's why he didn't write Xiao Tian (Ken) in the signature. It's actually his habit that whenever he says something with the word "tian", he would often follow it with "Zhu Xiao Tian." For instance, he would often post this: "zai jian, xiao tian!" And this event was not an exception. I kept on hearing "Xiao Tian" during the entire show. Lol.

As I watched the concert, I began to feel melancholy. He has grown so much, personally and professionally. And I'm really proud of him.

ZaiZai, Mr.CEO, our dear Monkey King, I'm not sure when (or if) I would see you again. I know I should have done this weeks ago. But it's so hard to let go of you, even just temporarily. You've been a big part of my life for the past 4 years. I feel as if you're already a part of my system. Despite the craziness of your world, it kept me sane while trying to keep afloat in my own crazy world. But real life has to catch up with me.

And that real life is looming nearer and nearer. I'm scared and nervous and pressured... But it's something that I must undergo.

So this is your Miss Fei Lu Bin signing off. See you when I see you, ZaiZai.
