Er...

Hey there, long time no post. Sorry about that. Well, not really, but yeah. I've stared the whole university business over and this time I think I'm going to stick with it. I'd like to go to Norway, either during the Winter break or after the exams, which means I have to study hard. And studying hard means gaming hard whenever I get the chance, or breaking underneath the stress. Yes, this is all the apology you're going to get from me.

With this said, it's really no surprsie that I've picked up NWN2 again, it being one of the very few games able to keep me amused that I haven't beaten yet countless times before actually, it's one of two, with the second being the Throne of Bhaal datadisk, which is probably cursed because I can't seem to get past the dragon Bhaalspawn without the computer breaking down on me.

The only thing stranger than Khelgar actually launching his dream-career of monk is that I actually invested energy and resources into making him a decent one, even though I've already resolved to drag Bishop with me instead of Khelgar. Old imes' sake, maybe?

Speaking of Bishop... rawr. I don't care that he's Chaotic Evil, he's hot, and damn handy in a fight. Plus I'm weak to these arrogant I-don't-give-a-damn-so-stop-bothering-me types. Especially if the other option is a paladin with complex almost as big as his self-righteousness. I just hope Bishop won't do anything stupid, like turning against me. That scene where he's pulling intel out of the idiot gnome looked rather ominous. I'm going to be really sad if I have to kill him... I'm serious, I'm going to be sad for five whole minutes.

Also, I owe Qara an apology. She's not as insufferable as I've thought. Only half as much, with the scales being tipped heavilly in her favour by the sheer destructive power she wields along with Sand's habit of announcing himself as the "new glorious leader" of the party. There's nothing quite as beautiful as the abilities of Qara and Isang, my druidess, combined in battle.

BTW, a druid is probably the most self-sufficient class in the game, I've found. You can make them into quite decent fighters, especially when you combine them with their animal companions, and when you put it together with the wide selection of both supportive and aggressive spells, well... her latest achievement was beating an onslaught of undead, pretty much by herself... and I'm not talking skeletons and zombies. More like wraiths, vampires and necromancers.
Plus it makes it pointless to drag Elanee the Stalker-san with oneself.
Just saying. >.>

All in all, I freaking love this game, and the only thing I'm looking forward to more than beating it is starting it over with a bard. And then possibly a scythe-wielding warlock. And then*mauled*
Also, I would very much love to get my hands on the datadisks... if only they sold them somewhere. >_<;

pretty pretty silver swords of pretty, why is everybody trying to kill me, *fireball'd*, rl, where do they get all these enemy npcs
