So last night I went out with Mike and got a little more toasted than I had planned on. Basically the same sort of line-up as last Thursday night. I woke up around noon in a panic because my license wasn't in the pocket of my pants where I had it before. Then I saw it was on the table next to my flask so apparently I was responsible enough to put it where I could find it easily. I was also aware enough to get home, undressed, and into bed without doing any damage. All in all a success, I went out, had a good time, met some people, and got home safely, right?
Except I vaguely remember that my supervisor at work was on the bus when I got on. Last weekend everyone was really out of hand so I complained and now there will be supervisors or police officers on the buses after midnight. Which may have come right back to me since I only remember getting ON the bus and telling him that I had a little too much to drink, and I have no idea whatsoever if I got off at the right stop, if I did something unruly, etc. For all I know, they could have carried me off the bus, put my license on the table, and put me to bed. Except I know that I was mobile because I put my stuff on the table (its upstairs and I went to bed downstairs so no one else would have known to put it there). I most likely didn't vomit because there is nothing on my clothes to suggest that, though it is possible. So if anything happened, it happened in the 5 minutes between me getting on the bus and ending up at the door of my house. And I just don't remember those minutes.
There was a message on the phone when I woke up from that supervisor asking me to call him. No details, just a hi, this is for you, please call soon. So I called work and its someone else working today, and he didn't leave a message for them about me. I'm still scheduled to work tonight so it couldn't have been something very terrible. Maybe he just wanted to know if I got home alright?
