My new favorite thing is when you pre-order a CD and get something free with it. I'm getting T-Shirts from The Classic Crime and Hoobastank via that route, plus free shoelaces (shoelaces? wtf?) and an autographed CD insert booklet from Run Kid Run. And if I pre-order the new The Format CD, I get a hot pink frisbee (umm...right). Tee hee~!
I recently watched this awesome interview with Mae, my favorite band (if you somehow haven't heard that somewhere along the line before). It depressed me, of all things. Actually, it made me realize just how much I want to be a musician for a living, and how hard it is to make it in that world and how unlikely it is I'll ever even come close. I'm pretty sure I want that more than anything. There's time to change that statement, though. To quote Stellar Kart, "People change and plans get changed, and everything changes but you."
