So my recent forays into the music world to find new awesome bands to listen to have grown increasingly less successful. I'm getting depressed, because it means that I may have an entirely to extensive knowledge of my favorite genres. Sites designed to expose me to new music usually just spit out the names of bands I've known of for a while. Basically, I am now reduced to waiting for new music from bands I've already heard of (not that there's anything wrong with that... ;) ). It also leads to often disappointing revelations, like the one I received on visiting the site for Yellow Second, a band I discovered last spring and thouroghly (sp) enjoyed. Guess what? They broke up last July! F'n A!
