He man woman haters
Ive developed this awesome relationship with his awesome kid who writes me long letters and I write him long letters back. Unfortunately its through myspace so thyere not real letters. But we like to pretend. He told me that he and some friends are in the works of trying to plan to build a secret treehouse which reminded me of the time my brother built "a secret fort." I remember the day as if it happened today. However, i think its one of my favorite memories so if you all dont mind I'd like to copy and paste a majority of my response.
When I was about 4 my older brother (whos 8 years older than me) had like 5 of his friends over and they all kept going into the woods behind my house, carrying nails and shit. I knew they were up to something. I asked my brother what he was doing and he told me they were building a "secret fort." I told him to bring me and he replied in a what-are-you-fucking-stupid tone, that he wouldnt. I cried and ran to my mom and my mom acted like a robot and just repeated "matt take your sister with you" and of course he said no and my mom didnt argue back. I remember standing in my back yard, facing the woods, just watching my brother and his friends carry tools back and fourth to the house, and dissapearing among the trees. I stood there crying hysterically because none of them would bring me. I would stop each one of his friends and ask, and when they also told me no, Id yell and cry. They would start to feel bad..until my brother would yell at them to stop wasting time. I tried to follow them into the woods...but id get maybe 5 feet into it and get too scared and turn around.
About three years later I walked back there with fellow neighbors and found it. It was a few pieces of wood hammered together to form something like a floor, stuck in between the tree. The trees base was about 3 or 4 feet then split into two and form a V shape....so i guess it looked like a giant Y if you get the picture. The floor part was stuck between where it split. There was about 3 or 4 pieces of wood hammered at the base to form a ladder to climb up to. Above it was a sign that was horribly spray painted with orange, "Fuck off". I remmeber seeing it and thinking "this is the 'secret fort' he built?" I was so dissapointed.
