A week without a journal update! Supwiththat!? Don't worry though, I got plenty to update about. Like today for example. Steff and I had a sweet at home date day. I took a shower, shaved off my wicked beard I've been working on, because she didn't like it, and got spiffed up. The day began when I fired up one of the few things I can cook, Rice! This dish was particulay cheesed. I enjoyed it, I think she did too. I kinda forget what happened after that, but I know eventually Mike came over. We all went to the mall in his tainted car. I saw a few friends from school...It was odd, they were all black women, except Shaun Kelley, who I hadn't seen since Charter's Sophomore Homecoming, which was fun, and more than a year ago.
So yeah, Today was fun. This weekend has been fun, Friday I beleive it was, Gina, Katie, Mike Fraatz, and I had a little movie night piece up in my house. GIna brought the film, a classic, Power Rangers! Whooah! We also found it to be the appropriate time to bust out this little number:
Sadly, that little number lost it's novelty pretty quick.
It's an hour and 32 minutes, about 1 minute of quality Zebra footage, about half of which is actually in a kitchin. Anywho, we watched that for a little, had a few laughs, and decided we should move onto some big boy stuff, Power Effin Rangers!
So we pop in the Power, hit the play button, and we all crap our pants. It was amazing. The action, the emotion, the sheer spunk of the young actors! I made like Mystery Science Theatre, and laid down the sarcastic commentary and whatnot. A few memorable quotes are: Zordon: "I think I wet my tank..." Yellow: "Are you sure I don't look stupid with the lights on?" Construction Worker: "Hey Frank...Betcha won't piss on it" Blue: "No! I'm not wearing anything under my suit!. I was however disapointed by one thing, the cast. Some of the original Rangers had been replaced, the minority ones. Yellow and Black. They switched, Yellow was a black chick, and Black was a yellow dude. Grrr. They replaced the best BLACK POWER ranger ever! So hear this Walter Jones:

With all that said, I'm going to bed. This week we don't have school Thursday or Friday, so I'm looknig forward to it. No real plans for the weekend, as usual. I've begun to think about a New Year party though, yeah, you like that. So yeah, stay well everyone.
