Hot damn, this has been a mega-swell 4 day weekend. The Autumn party at Katie's was pretty kick ass, I had a good time. It was especially good because there was fire, a campfire. I love campfires, they remind me, of, well, camping. Which also reminds me, Mike, we need to go camping. Yeah. Anywho, yeah, I love the way campfires embed their smell into your clothing. It's the smell of Autumn I tell ya. My sweater has it, well had it, my mom had to go and wash it, pssssh. Here's so Autumn party pictures:
The first one was suppose to be a wicked smore, but I cooked it too long. It doesn't look that big in the picture, but it was about the size of a squirrel. It looks kinda like a wasp nest to me. The second picture shows Mike playing with a leafblower and Katie's dog...at the same time! In the third, we see Katie riding me through the gifts of Autumn. The last one is some old school leaf playing. If you haven't played in leaves in a long time, get some friends, a huge mound, and go to it.
Other then the Autumn party, I went to a show this weekend. I haven't been to a show in a while, but Mike's brother's new band was playing, so I wanted to see, since I love the Jumps family. It was down in Dover, where as we found out, hardcore kids do not mosh, or play in bands at all, they gut deer in the parking lot. Anywho, the show was good. All the bands played well. The Media sounds a lot different then Crown Heart Ruin, but is still good. They're nice guys, so I'm sure they'll rule the scene soon enough. The last band that played, "The Burning Season" was the best. Very good stuff.
Sunday Sunday Sunday, I Steffed it up. It was a good ole day. We went to Best Buy and bought some goods. Then we went on a double date with Aimee and Tom. We went to a really expensive restaurant, did the wine and dine, and went home. Steff and I continued our date with a little movie action, Yesterday we watched the Exorcist, so today we went for something with a little more Nick Cage, Gone in Sixty Seconds. I like cars, so it was a good choice. Also, it was on TV, so we had no choice.
I just remembered I was supposed to call Mike. I've known Mike for a long time. I think he'll forgive me for not calling, but he might be angry I drank the sodas he left in my fridge. Sorry dude, I'll buy you some Go-Gurt to make it better.
Yeah, good times. <3
