I don't have a camera right now, so I am going to try and do this only using Google image search.
Paul Scheik got Amelia (his intern) and I, into the Ari Marcopolous/Ken Miller art talk for free last night. Paul was also speaking.
The reason I am saying this is because I felt very special when Paul waved us into the event and told us not to pay.
Ken Miller runs Rizzoli publishing corp. in NY
Paul Scheik works in Oakland:
Ari Marcopoulos is having a retrospective:
The talk was exciting, but after we got waved in for free I went back to my social status of no one yet. So me and Amelia met up with other art school friends a bar to drink the most delicious Greyounds (fresh squeeze grapefruit juice with salt)
Nayeli brought her cute roomate/friends, so we caught a ride in their big black band van. Went to a house party, because that's all there is to do in Oakland, but the house parties are prettttty cracking, always nuts and unpredictable. Especially at this house.
Then I went home alone to eat dumplings.
THE END!
