Something's been bugging me for a few weeks....
Slight spoilers for the recent episode.......
1) Was watching On the Head of a Pin a few weeks back, and Alistair was saying that John managed to last 100 years in Hell without breaking, but that Dean broke in 30. BUT, in Mystery Spot, when he 'finally' died on the first Wednesday, and that Sam had been going hunting alone for at least 3 months - I'm thinking more along 6 months before the second Wednesday occurs, *shrugs* - so it means that Dean was in Hell all that while right? Which means that he lasted a lot longer than 30 years in Hell before he breaks, only he can't remember, right?? I mean, maybe he can't remember, but his mind might subconsciously 'informed' his body that it had been tortured for as longer than it thinks, and that his conscious mind might be reacting to that, therefore, he waved the white flag after being in Hell for 'officially' 30 years, when in fact, it was longer than that?
I assumed he didn't start torturing and killing during his stint after his death at Mystery Spot, since there wasn't any Apocalypse and no angels come down to Earth and start smiting people?
Am i even making sense here?
2) And on the subject of the Trickster, aka Gabriel, he said that he had run away from Heaven, and set up a new identity as the Trickster all these while, which means that when he started killing all the people who deserved it, and doing the Groundhog Day at Mystery Spot, and sending Sam back to the second Wednesday, it means that he's still using his angelic powers? Technically, he's a rogue angel right? Or running away instead of rebelling doesn't count? Because his powers are still intact, especially when he did the time looping and the sending Sam back into time, and i thought, in light of the recent episode, that since you are cut off from Heaven, you might not have enough juice to do time traveling, and time looping and the blast from the past for Sam should count as time traveling right?
I might be going round in circles here. It's giving me a headache.
