Realized while browsing my old stuff that I had this tutorial that I made a long time ago. Thought while I'm still without photoshop and the ability to make icons you guys should have something to look at lol...

1. Get you base ready, meaning sharpen or whatever you need to (if yu image is dark try duplicating it and setting to screen - with this image I did not need to)



2. Go to Layer, New Adjustment Layer, then Color Balance and use these settings

Midtones

+27, -8, -25

3. Add a selective color layer by going to Layer, New Adjustment Layer, then selective color and use these settings

REDS
-47
-23
0
0

YELLOWS
-100
0
0
0

4. Add a Hue/Saturation Layer by going to Layer, New Adjustment Layer, then Hue/Saturation and use these settings

MASTER

Saturation +14

5. Add a second selective color layer by going to Layer, New Adjustment Layer, then selective color and use these settings

NEUTRALS
+100
0
0
0

BLACKS
+100
+100
+100
+100

and that gets you this



Now if you want



Just change the last selective color settings to these

NEUTRALS

0

BLACKS

and if you want this
