APH: Into the Maze ((RussiaxAmerica))

Into the Maze

“Okay. This is going to be totally-” America paused in the middle of a 360° spin (arms flung straight out at his sides so that passerby had to duck to get around him), realized that nobody was following him, and marched back to the truck where Russia was still standing with his arms crossed. America linked their elbows ( Read more... )

It's ok- it's too bad they lost though!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

I blame our graduating class for imprinting that song in our brains.

The scarf knows all!

Who, me? I love Halloween! It's my favorite time of year! I wish I could go trick-or-treating without feeling too old. And I will totally be this dorky about it until the day I die. :D My kids will hate me.

Haha- did you really get lost in there for a long time? I heard the world's biggest cornmaze is somewhere nearby us! I really want to go this year!

Eric read the first part of this a while back and said America seemed like a bratty kid and Russia just seemed like a pedophile dad. Which made me kind of sad. XD I was afraid I made America toooo annoying in this one... but then again, he's usually childish when I write him.

Oh yes, fun times to be had. For some reason when I was trying to imagine what Russia would rather be doing, I pictured the two of them snuggled up at America's place. Then I got the image of a fireplace in my head and naturally a bearskin rug accompanied it. Don't ask why because I have no idea. XD I thought, "Ohhkay. Maybe I need to stop watching British theatre." There are very interesting sets that seem to be creeping into my subconscious.

Is it sad that I have no clue how our class is related to that song and I was confessing to being raised to love country music?

If we live near each other in the future, we so should put together ridiculous Halloween parties. And I will be the same sort of mother.

I don't think I was at the world's biggest but I have been to a few. I don't remember getting lost really; I was with my girl scout troop and had too much fun to think of being 'lost.'

Pedophile!dad is already taken by England In a way, they both strike me as huge brats and that makes them fit well.

Cuddly!Russia is awesome (and totally believable to me; in fact I think people would find him too cuddle-y when he finally feels comfortable to be so with someone...and this is slightly related to something on my to write list.) Well, at least you can be fairly sure that British theatre won't take the place of Hetalia in your subconscious. (Mine's certainly been taken over.)

Oh I used to hear people singing it all the time because of that one kid (Tyler?) who was obsessed with tractors and used to drive his to school sometimes. XD

Yay! Tag-team embarrassment! >:DDD

Your girl scout troop sounds much more adventurous than mine... Though I think we did go to an apple orchard one time...I've only been to an itty-bitty cornmaze before, and it was in the middle of open space, so if you kept walking one direction (cheating XD), you would get out in no time.

Haha oh yes, England wins that title for sure. I think Russia would be that way, too. Sort of desperately clinging out of fear of losing someone... but until he trusted them, he'd probably be pretty closed off and cold.
:D

I dunno... British theatre and Hetalia are battling it out right now. I think in order to calm my mind, I might write something that blends the two? Like a parody of a famous play. Wouldn't that be weird? XD

First, yes it was Tyler. His mom told me he tried to get his sister to "continue the tradition" and she refused.

Pah, adventurous isn't the best word. We went tent camping once and only 'cabin camping' after that.

Totally agree with the clingyness and the closed off but I am adding 'creepy without realizing it.' Cause that's the fun part of his character XD

I'm trying to think of a play (or even Brit lit) to parody and keep laughing my ass off. First thought? Leans to lit: England as Pip and France as Estrella. Why yes, I am insane.

Aww. I totally would have. XD Though it did kind of hold up traffic...

Cabin camping saves lives.

I was proud of us for making it OK in the tent. We should go again! But in autumn. And plan more outdoors-ey things to do. And bring more bug-spray. :D

Creepiness IS fun. I am trying to get better at capturing that demonic-child side of him. He just comes out grumpy and serious when I write him.

Oh dear goodness. I don't think I could bring myself to read that book again. It's not that I dind't like it, but it was so looooong. But the idea of Hetalia-ifying it makes it sound kind of fun.... Hmmm. XDDD
