Summary: Yesung finally woke up only to find Yoochun carries his new children
Chapter 11
Two weeks after Yesung was isolated to the Sea-Elves Pond and Yunho’s surgery, prince Kangta found out that his child was born about two months before the war ended and that his fairy lover had passed away. Albeit he’s in grief at the loss he needs to be strong because once again the royal family argue about who will keep the baby since Yesung’s still in recovery and Yunho, who is the next candidate after Yesung, is definitely out of question. Both prince Kangta and prince Kangin still insist to keep the baby and in the end, they search the wandering around vampire Yoochun to keep the baby until Yesung awake.
Yoochun now confused because he is obviously a pure blood vampire, unlike his cousin, so how come he has a job of baby-sit his nephew and adopted nephew?? Another thing is the so-called child of Yesung and Rella…..is in a form of a tree now. A quite big tree Master Hwanhee had planted near the Wizarding Grotto since both he and Yoochun nearly had a heart attack when the tree grows bigger and bigger everyday. But Yoochun keeps his promise, he’s looking out the tree everyday. In fact, he even sleeps under the tree, not on the branch since he has enough sense and brain to remember the tree is his nephew, a two weeks old baby in another form.
Now, grumbling while holding his adopted nephew, Yoochun goes to Master Hwanhee again. As much as tiring it would be, Yoochun like it there. Wizards and witches have no fear of a vampire and being Yesung’s cousin plus Rella’s brother in law, everyone there treat him quite well, especially the Great Master himself.
“Ah, Yoochun…..what’s that? You have a baby of your own? Why didn’t you tell me you’re married?”
Yoochun pouts at Master Hwanhee. The old wizard likes to tease him because he’s also a cute boy like Yesung. After a few minutes of arguments about Yoochun’s not married and the Sage insists he doesn’t believe Yoochun, finally the Sage offers to take care of the baby for awhile. Yoochun sighed in relief. Finally the old wizard stops teasing him. Now that it settled, Yoochun ready to fly searching his favorite wizard when Master Hwanhee adds some last words.
“Hey, Yoochun-ah! I understand this baby not yours, but I suggest you getting married too! You vampires are old enough anyway”
Yoochun quickly fly away from the Sage’s chuckling voice before he’s gone crazy.
“Chun hyung!”
Yoochun smiles at the childish voice and landed near a little boy. He always feels content whenever he’s around this boy, another adopted son of Master Hwanhee.
“Hi there, Junsu-ah! How’s lesson today?”
When Yesung finally regains consciousness little by little, he tries to feel his surrounding. The first thing he could notice is he’s too weak to open his eyes so he has to use all other senses to feel. The second thing is the cold and flowing around him so he must be placed in water…..probably a pond or river. Third is he could hear the water ripples and a loud sound, probably there’s a waterfall not far from his current place. The last one is he could feel some eyes watching him sometimes. He guesses there are some people come visit him time to time.
It’s been a year when Yesung finally wake up of his unconscious state of recovery. He could feel his body’s still weak though the injuries are completely healed. Slowly sitting up, he realized he was right when he guessed he is placed in water. Taking a look of his surrounding, he knows in an instant that this is the Sea-Elves Pond when one of said magic creatures turns to him and smile.
“You’re finally wake up! It sure takes a lot of time even though you’re a half-vampire. Can you stand?”
Yesung tries but soon his legs gave out. The elf frowns. “I see….you need to regain your strength back. Just rest here, I’ll leave for a moment to inform the chief and get you some medicine. Please wait a moment….oh, you have visitors!”
Yesung looks up to see the visitors. “Hyung! You finally woke up?!” Yesung’s a bit surprised to see a familiar face he hadn’t seen for quite a long time. His little cousin Yoochun, landing with two bundles on his arms and a child on his back. When the child get off of Yoochun’s back, Yesung finally recognizes him as Master Hwanhee’s second son and Jay’s little brother, Junsu.
Jay
The mere presence of the name in Yesung’s head is enough to make his head dizzy again. What happened to him? Why did he attack me? What’s with the dark wizard? The memories of what had happened flowing like a stream in his head and finally he remembered Yunho. Yunho!
“Yoochun! What happened with Yunho?! And Jay?! The war?!”
Yoochun sighed. “Calm down, hyung. Yunho is safe but he’s still in recovery. He’s life no longer threatened so don’t worry. Jay though….Master Hwanhee had imprisoned him. Up till now they are still investigating his connection with the dark wizard”
Junsu looks up at Yoochun in confusion and opens his mouth to say something but get silenced by Yoochun’s glare. “Yoochun” Yesung said carefully “There are some things left? What are you hiding?” Yoochun merely shakes his head and tells his hyung that he’ll tell him later when Yesung is fully recovered. Telling him everything when he’s still in a weak state is not a good idea.
Feeling the bundles in his arms wiggling around, Yoochun smiled again. “Hyung, there are things I want to tell you” Junsu grins brightly and almost jumping up and down in joy. The boy drags Yesung closer to the shore and winks at him, which only adding Yesung’s confusion. Then he sees the bundles on Yoochun’s arms and gasps.
There’s a cute baby, bundled up in baby blue blanket, sleeping peacefully. Right on his side is a small kitten, its fur is jet-black like Yesung’s own hair. The kitten, feeling eyes on it, slowly yawn and opened his eyes, showing a pitch black eyes staring straight at Yesung.
“Yoochun, what…?”
The kitten jumps out of Yoochun’s arm and moves to Yesung, purring happily when he circles Yesung’s arms that support his body. Yoochun just grinning. “Hyung…would you believe me if I tell you the kitten is your son?”
“…..excuse me?”
“I said he’s your son”
“Why?”
“He’s a male”
“Yoochun….”
“Okay, okay! Sheesh…..I wonder how should I tell you….the kitten’s your offspring with Rella hyungsoo, hyung”
Yesung’s staring at him with a blank look which only makes Yoochun frowns and Junsu starts to questioning in his mind about what’s offspring mean and the kitten still purring in Yesung’s arm. “Yoochun…it’s impossible. Rella and I never…”
Yesung stopped there. Never bonding in real life, yes of course, but they had their moments together in his….what, dreams or illusions….and what happened after that, Yesung couldn’t even remember. Just that one moment…
“Hyung….I believe you did with hyungsoo a year ago. She said she wanted to have last moment with you so she used her magic to did so. The kitten here is the result. Well, not a kitten at first….when she gave him to me, he was in a form of a magic egg which strangely became a big tree. He changed again into this kitten a week ago, I don’t understand either but it’s a very good way to prevent any danger…hyung? Are you listening?”
“…….Yes. Yoochun, did you say Rella wanted last moment…?”
Yoochun frowns again. He’s not sure if this is a good idea. He could see how much his hyung loves his hyungsoo, now with Yesung eyes looks at his in a mixed of sadness and worry plus confusion to the kitten still playing in his hand.
“Hyung….do I have to tell you now? I don’t want to make you worried but you should think about your health first. Just believe me the kitten is your son, please?”
“Yoochun’s right, Yesung-sshi”
The vampires turn to see an elegant elf lady with long bright golden hair. She smiles at them and bows at Yoochun who also bows at her. Yesung met this lady once, she is the lead-doctor, that’s the easiest way to describe, among all the elves in charge of curing magic creatures. Lady Bora, known wide as Sunday the Grace because she brings an aura of calm and peacefulness to people around them, with her soft and soothing voice she’s very perfect to accompany creatures in healing.
“Yesung-sshi I’m glad you’re awake now. But I am the one in charge on healing you here, I hope you could focus more to the recovery progress. I know you must be anxious about Lady Rella but believe me, your cousin only tells you the truth….”
Well, if the Sunday the Grace herself said that then who is Yesung to argue? He has no experience in healing since his wounds usually heal by themselves. It’s not that he doesn’t trust Yoochun, he knows Yoochun is sincere….but the idea of something happened to the Jung siblings and now he has a son in form of a kitten….it’s almost difficult to accept. It’s only fuel up his curiosity.
“By the way, hyung…I haven’t name him yet….what will you call him?”
“Hmm…wait. Yoochun, that baby in your arms?”
“Oh….he’s your adoptive son, hyung. He’s prince Kangta’s son. He said you’d promised to adopt him but since you’re unconscious it was Master Hwanhee and little Junsu who take car of him”
Yesung smiles softly at the memory of prince Kangta. He missed that boy and his brother already but…..he sure left a big burden to him. Now Yesung has two baby sons, one is adopted and one is still purring in his arm.
“What’s his name?”
“Prince Kangta named him Ryeowook…..see, he sure looks like his father!”
Yesung has to stifle his laughter, this is the first time he sees Yoochun so enthusiastic to children. Probably Junsu’s influence since the little boy always loves the idea being an older brother and loves little children very much. Though sometimes Yesung regrets introducing those two. Yoochun becomes more cheerful, that’s a good thing, but Junsu also become sneakier in his eyes. Not to mention Junsu shows blatant love that’s oh so wrong for a child on his age.
“Yesung hyung….what’s the kitten….I mean your son’s name?”
Yesung’s ruffles Junsu’s hair and the boy giggles at the attention he received. Junsu’s eyes are shining with happiness, he’s obviously elated at the fact he will have two younger brothers.
“How about….Kibum?”
Sunday the grace’s smiling softly at the family moment laid in front of her eyes. She never expect to see vampires could have such a happy moment like this. Yesung obviously happy with his new children, so as Yoochun. Little Junsu’s now hugging the kitten, who is still purring, and starts jumping around and repeating “Kibum-ah! Kibum-ah!” much to everyone’s amusement.
