“UMMMMAAAAAA!!!!”
Hankyung sighed. Henry must have bugged his oldest brother again. He swore he had heard Yoochun played the piano beautifully, and he was quite enjoying the moment while sipping tea and watching Alvin and the Chipmunks on TV with Kibum by his side.
As expected, Yoochun zoomed into the room and poking his umma.
“Umma!! Henny stole my piano againnn!!!”
And Yoochun will continue to rant about his evil baby brother on and on until Hankyung gave up and stood up to take his baby son from the piano. He was happy and proud to know both Yoochun and Henry have their appa’s music talent but he got a headache every time they were fighting and stealing each other’s piano time.
As he approached the piano, he saw baby Henry playing -more like banging- the piano with his chubby little hands. To other people, Henry probably looked like any other toddler who was curious of the piano and tried to make a song of their own. In a sense, it was not entirely wrong. Hankyung knew Henry just tried to play the songs Yoochun always played but it could not change the fact that Henry was still an almost 4 years old boy with almost no knowledge of how to read musical notes.
“Henli-ah”
Henry looked up at his umma for a moment before turned to banging the piano keys again. As much as Hankyung found it cute and amusing to see his baby trying to play a song, he should stop the boy right now before Yoochun cried and the piano dead before its time. So Hankyung just pecked the boy’s cheeks and picked him up, carrying him and placing him by Kibum’s side. Yoochun quickly dashed to the piano again and Kibum cuddled Henry when the baby tried to follow Yoochun’s pace.
“Nooo!! I wanna play!! Pianooo!”
Henry struggled in Kibum’s arms but Kibum merely grip him harder. For a boy of his age, Kibum was pretty strong. Must be because he often tried to lift his appa’s dumbbell (and nearly make his parents freaked out) and failed epically, but the efforts were appreciated at least for the boy himself.
Finally Henry gave up and just sits still with puffing cheeks in Kibum’s arms.
“Don’t be angry, Henny-ah. Hyung will read a book for you?”
Henry did not budge.
“Look! Theodore has chubby cheeks like you!! Henny is a chipmunk too huh?”
Still no reaction.
Kibum pouted. Then Yoochun came into the room after he got tired with his piano and grinning widely when the movie took scene of the three chipmunks singing.
The oldest boy jumped on the couch, surprising both of his younger brothers, and started to copy Alvin’s moves and singing in the chipmunk’s voice.
Hankyung laughed and laughed from his spot on the single couch next to the children’s one. Yoochun obviously inherited his appa’s adorkable genes and has no trouble showing it off, teaching his brothers how to….enjoy the childhood life.
True enough, Henry started to giggle and Kibum followed soon after. Almost simultaneously, the two jumped and followed Yoochun’s example.
Between tears and laughters, Hankyung managed to catch Henry when he almost tumbled from the couch and ordered “the chipmunks” to practice their moves on the floor. He quickly ran to Yesung’s workroom, searching his camcorder.
Yesung got home from work to found three tired boys fell asleep on the couch. He smiled and kissed their foreheads one by one, but Yoochun’s eyes fluttered open. “Appa, you’re back….” He mumbled tiredly. Yesung kissed his cheek “Go back to sleep, Yoochun-ah. You seemed tired” Yoochun nodded but demanded his appa to sing him lullaby. Yseung nodded and carried his sons to their bedroom and sang Yoochun’s favorite song in a low voice, Kibum and Henry already dead asleep.
After Yesung washed himself, he found Hankyung went all aaw-ing in front of his laptop. Upon seeing Yesung, he quickly gestured him to sit by his side. He turned the laptop to face Yesung as soon as he sat and he saw a blank screen of the media player.
“You found a new song or movie?”
“No, I’ve made a new video today and I want you to watch it now~”
“Oooh…about what?”
