(no subject)
Okay so I just went on a "friendly" meet-date thingy with Ryan, we met on a dating website back in January and just Facebooked each other, never met. But his girlfriend broke up with him when he was in California last weekend, so I asked him if he wanted to do something. Like a good friend should.
And so we did.
And damnit, I fell.
He's sooo super dorky, SUCH a nerd. He likes She Wants Revenge and works for Google. He showed me this Android app on his HTC where you can see the constellations, so we watched the stars together via Android bc 'Inception' sold out at the AMC in Buckhead. We went to Atlantic Station and strolled around and ate at this really great Mexican restaurant, they made fresh guacomole right infront of us. And Ryan hates guacomole, but he tried the stuff and loved it. I had a cocktail, something I rarely do... drink. We went to the theatre, but like I said, Inception was sold out. So we went back to his apartment and he showed me his Netflix via his projector on the wall. He hates the luxury apartment he's renting, he couldn't see it when he rented it bc he was still living in California. His lease is up in September, so we're going IKEA shopping for his new place he's getting in Buckhead... the most fabulous place to reside in Atlanta!
Anyways... I ended up kissing him. John has been acting shitty, I think there's other things on John's mind right now. He scorned me the other night and said he gets irritated talking on the phone. And that he's sick of having to reassure me that he'sinterested in me. I never asked for reassurance, he never expressed to me directly that he was interested in the first place. Anyways, John lives on John's time. He even told a mutual friend, "Yeah tonight Adrienne's gonna do her thing, I'm gonna do mine. And we'll meet up later." I'm not doing 'my thing', "my thing" is finding someone who wants to do "our thing." I thought I made it clear from the get-go that I'm looking for a relationship.
John's not out of the question, he's merely sitting on the backburner.
Ryan, however...
Ryan is totally a nerd that I'm going Google over;)
He told me the next time he goes to Cali, if we're all good... I can come with.
