1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?: Go four-wheeling and shooting :)
2. New Years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?: Focus more on my relationship with God and less on material things
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?: Not that I remember...
4. Did anyone close to you die?: No, thank goodness
5. What countries did you visit?: None
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?: Peace in my life, as dumb as that sounds
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory and why?: Good = September 6th-ish... Bad = May 18th
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?: Overcoming a personal battle that I struggled with for months
9. What was your biggest failure?: I'd say... losing the HOPE scholarship
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?: Not so much... just wisdom tooth surgery
11. What was the best thing you bought?: My new phone?
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?: A few people actually... My new roommate, my old roommate, my best friend from back home, a friend that I've made recently, etc
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?: Once again, a few people... but I refuse to mention anyone by name
14. Where did most of your money go?: Clothes, I guess
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?: Starting back college this fall at North Georgia... and making new friends this summer
16. What song will always remind you of 2004?: Anything by Jason Mraz or Dashboard Confessional
17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?: Umm... both?
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter... that makes me sound like a fat cow... lol
iii. richer or poorer?: About the same, I guess
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?: Spend time with God and my friends
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?: Worry about a certain situation...
20. How will you be spending Christmas?: Already spent it... and it was with my family
22. Did you fall in love in 2004?: In 2003 actually, but that changed in 2004
23. How many one night stands?: Never had one, thankfully
24. What was your favorite TV program(s)?: The OC and Gilmore Girls
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?: I don't really hate anyone, but there is someone that I really dislike, but it's my job to do that...
26. What was the best book you read?: Passion and Purity
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?: Dave Barnes... amazing
28. What did you want and [receive]?: A job for the summer... and I got an amazing one at the church
29. What did you want and not get?: My plans for the future... only to see that God obviously has something different for my life!
30. What was your favorite film of this year?: Garden State, Napoleon Dynamite, and Finding Neverland (I couldn't choose just one)
31. What did you do on your birthday?: Spent time with my wonderful friends!
32. What one thing would have made your year more satisfying?: The strength to do something that I should have done a long time ago...
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?: The usual eclectic style
34. What kept you sane?: God and my friends
35. Which celebrity did you fancy the most?: I didn't fancy one :-P
36. What political issue stirred you the most?: Hahaha... the people of the US and the way they responded to the newly elected president
37. Who did you miss?: A new friend of mine
38. Who was the best new person you met?: I can think of a few actually... but one in particular that will go unnamed :)
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.: Plans for your future can be destroyed in a minute, but that happens when God has something bigger and much better planned... learned that one first hand ;)
40. I never do these survey things, but I did feel like summing up my year and this seemed like a good way to do it. I hope you enjoy and that everyone had a great year!
